COMPANY NEWS: SAVING THE WORLD, TWO STRAPS AT A TIME.
At the EMS Expo in Orlando this October, we saw an encouraging and notable shift in the way we interacted with our customers, old and new. We spent little time explaining the StatPacks philosophy. Attendees already seemed aware of the benefits of carrying gear on their back, rather than their side. I couldn’t help comparing the experience with our first show in 2003, when we had to sell the idea that backpacks are not just for search and rescue—two straps are better than one, even for an ambulance crew.

Since we first debuted StatPacks at the EMS Expo four years ago, we’ve used it to market each new year and to gather important feedback from our growing customer base. But this shift wasn’t limited to our customers—it affected our competitors as well. We noted many familiar product designs creeping into their product lines. Sure, we’d like a little credit, but we’re happy to see this as part of an encouraging shift in the EMS profession. After all, we recognize that this change is driven by medics in the field who believe in the new paradigm. We thank you all for your support and we look forward to a new year of even more progress.
